STREET SPORTS FISHING EVENT Staunton Country Park)

It was great to see that the Owner of Nailors Fishing tackle Justin Nailor and his Father Micheal Nailor

were taking part in a Easter Hoilday Street Sports Event at Staunton Country Park in Leigh Park Gardens

which was held over 4 days



Street Sports is a free hoilday programme of sports and arts for 8-15 years old and is brought to you by Guinness Hermitage and Havant Brough Council

The plan was to Teach basic fishing skills including casting and fishing techniques in one to one sessions to all children from Ages of 8-15 years old

Many with Special needs and Disabilities

Both were a big Hit with the Children they were booked up all over the 4 days, great feedback has been received from all the children and there Parents along with the other coaches

"To Me This is what fishing is all about , spending time with Younger Children and helping many of them catch there 1st fish which will stay with them as a happy memory for many years
I just wish more Events are available like this across the UK to give younger Children a taste of Fishing
What a great event , I am still receIving many phone calls from parents from the Area , asking if we are returning to the Summer Hoilday Events"

Well how do i start,it was great to see the young people enjoying themselves,and for them to learn and to encourage them to carry on fishing. ( WELL DONE STREET SPORTS .)
