One of the most versatile all round specimen float rods available today, the ‘Specialist Float’ is equally at home on both still and running waters. Designed for targeting Tench, Bream, Chub and Barbel, its action is crisp yet very forgiving making it extremely safe for play big fish on small hooks and light lines!

For still water work, large loaded wagglers can be punched out against strong headwinds on relatively light line whilst on running waters, the situation may dictate that a big Waggler needs to be fished down the far bank for those Chub that are deep under cover – this rod is at home with either task! ‘Feeding the bow’ for perfect presentation is no problem with this rod either as it has an incredible line pick up at range, yet at the same time the tip remains forgiving and absorbs the initial shock of the initial ‘contact’ with a big fish.

The specimen float is also very comfortable trotting pacey swims for medium sized Barbel on small rivers, but most important of all it’s simply a delight to use.
