The idea of producing a magazine style carp fishing TV programme was the brainchild of Angling Publications Ltd. - the publishers of the monthly carp fishing magazines Carpworld and Crafty Carper - and Carp Fishing News Ltd., the publishers of weekly Carp-Talk. These two companies are jointly the sponsors of this ground-breaking series. With main presenters, Chris Ball, Simon Crow and Tim Paisley the whole fascinating world of carp fishing including bait, tackle and tactics is explored both in this country and abroad. The main players featured in the shows include some of the best carp fishing talent around, Terry Hearn, Lee Jackson, Frank Warwick, Ian Chillcott and Adam Penning. There are valuable contributions also from Bill Cottam, Dave Chilton, Ray Dale-Smith, Dave Lane, Rod Hutchinson, Ron Buss, Mike Willmott, Rob Hughes and Dave Coakley, while the Starting Carping feature throughout the series is handled by Joe Wright and Jonathan Manning.
